CFD & Numerical Modelling
NHC has extensive experience in the development and application of numerical modelling for hydrology, river hydraulics, sediment transport, hydraulic transients in pumps and pipes, and hydraulic structures.
Our most detailed numerical modelling, which ranges in scale from small site-specific problems to full forebay and tailrace analysis, is conducted using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), which provide a detailed visual representation of the modelled system to address hydraulic problems.
