Hydraulics

Bridge & Transportation Hydraulics

Our transportation hydraulics experts analyze the interactions between transportation infrastructure (bridges, culverts, roadways, etc) and rivers or other water bodies.

We provide comprehensive water crossing hydraulic studies, including hydrologic analysis to determine design flows, geomorphic assessment of channel stability, and 1D/2D/3D hydraulic modelling to estimate water surface elevations and velocities.

Our investigations typically include “no rise” evaluations, floodplain impact assessments, scour calculations for foundation design, and channel stabilization and water crossing protection measures that meet environmental requirements.
