NHC investigates and analyzes floodplains ranging in size from small urban streams to the world’s largest rivers, and in geomorphic settings from alluvial fans to major river deltas.
We have extensive experience in all aspects of floodplain analysis and mapping, including design flow determination, flood control evaluation, risk mapping, and hazard management for current and planned projects.
We’re well versed in floodplain regulations, regularly support hydraulic permitting, and have completed numerous floodplain studies for public and private clients across North America and abroad.
