Andre is a senior fluvial geomorphologist specializing in channel stability, particularly in steep channels, hydrology, and the analysis of complex, large time-series datasets. A self-professed data enthusiast, he excels at solving challenging data acquisition problems using a wide range of commercial and custom-designed instruments in both field and laboratory settings.
His professional experience includes directing and supervising field programs to collect sediment, water, topographic, and bathymetric data, as well as conducting comprehensive geomorphology assessments. Andre is also an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Geography at UBC, where he collaborates with students on applied research projects.
