As a project manager and hydraulic engineer, Arian specializes in hydraulic and hydrologic modelling, urban water systems, river hydraulics, and flood risk assessment. With 19 years of experience in Canada and internationally, she leads complex water resources projects ranging from municipal drainage and wastewater network studies to floodplain mapping, river modelling, and infrastructure planning. Arian helps clients develop practical, resilient solutions that balance regulatory requirements, infrastructure performance, environmental considerations, and long-term community needs.
Arian has managed and contributed to a wide range of projects involving 1D and 2D hydraulic modelling, urban stormwater management, combined sewer overflow reduction, flood hazard evaluation, and watershed-scale hydraulic assessments. Her expertise spans PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, MIKE software, GIS applications, physical hydraulic modelling, field investigations, and environmental monitoring. In addition to her technical knowledge, she provides strong project leadership, overseeing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality control, and guiding projects from initial analysis and design through implementation planning and stakeholder coordination.
