Steve is an experienced river hydraulics and coastal engineer, working on a wide range of projects including wave studies, erosion and marine submersion assessments, sediment transport, maritime environment characterization, environmental impact evaluations, and climate change adaptation.
He coordinates oceanographic data collection, 2D and 3D hydrodynamic modeling, studies of ocean circulation, water quality, sediment transport, and coastal evolution, as well as project reporting. His work includes fishing harbour and marina rehabilitations, coastline stabilization (riprap, groynes, breakwaters, beach nourishment), navigation channel maintenance, dredging and contaminated sediment management, and aquatic habitat creation.
