Jasmine is a hydrotechnical engineer specializing in flood mapping, hydraulic modeling, and flood management for large river systems. Her experience spans consulting and research projects involving floodplain mapping, dam and dike failure assessments, and sediment transport and morphodynamic modeling.
She has developed hydraulic and morphodynamic models for major river systems in Canada and the U.S., including the Fraser River, as well as gravel-bed rivers in the US and New Zealand. In addition to her modeling expertise, Jasmine applies statistical and data science methods to hydrological analysis and flood forecasting.
