Hank is a hydraulic engineer with extensive experience in hydrology, hydraulics, and sediment transport, contributing to projects across the US and Taiwan. His expertise includes hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, sediment transport analysis, and the design of flood control and watershed restoration projects.
He has led studies spanning concept through final design, including flood hazard evaluations, master planning, channel stability and scour assessments, watershed restoration, runoff and sediment yield analyses, detention basin design, reservoir operation studies, and sediment TMDL evaluations.
Hank is highly skilled in applying 1D and 2D computer models to assess hydraulic performance, flood limits, and sedimentation trends in both natural and engineered systems. His work combines technical precision with a deep understanding of river processes to create resilient and sustainable water management solutions.
