Alex brings extensive experience in project management, hydraulic modeling, and the design of flood hazard reduction, bank stabilization, fish passage, and habitat restoration projects. With a background in civil engineering, Alex draws on a broad technical foundation to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver integrated solutions for complex water resources challenges.

He holds a graduate degree in Environmental Fluid Mechanics and Hydrology, which shaped his focus on rivers and streams as his primary area of practice. Over his career, Alex has developed numerous 1D and 2D steady and unsteady hydraulic models, conducted field data collection and analysis, and managed projects from concept through implementation.

Alex’s work centers on understanding how river systems interact with the built environment. He leads and manages flood hazard assessments, flood mapping studies, levee improvement projects, fish passage projects, and other multidisciplinary efforts that require deep expertise in hydrology and hydraulics.
