Patty is a hydrologic engineer with extensive experience in watershed assessment and planning. Her technical expertise includes hydrologic modeling, GIS applications for hydrologic and floodplain analysis, and hydrologic and geomorphic assessments of stream channels.
Highly skilled at engaging with diverse stakeholder groups, Patty is recognized for her ability to clearly communicate complex scientific and technical concepts to non-technical audiences through intuitive maps, graphics, and visual tools. She specializes in hydrologic modeling to support watershed planning, stormwater and floodplain management, reservoir system analysis, and restoration design. In addition, she has considerable experience analyzing and synthesizing hydrometeorologic data and conducting hydraulic modeling to inform floodplain and stormwater management decisions.
