Monica has extensive technical experience in hydraulics, hydrology, and sedimentation engineering, gained through a diverse range of water resource projects. She has led project reviews and management, conducted technical investigations, and coordinated construction activities. Her expertise spans flood hazard and risk assessment, floodplain mapping and management, erosion control, bridge hydraulics, and dike evaluations.
In addition to her project work, Monica has partnered with Engineers and Geoscientists BC to deliver professional development seminars on flood management and reviewed the Association’s draft guidelines for flood studies and floodplain mapping. She has also published technical papers and presented her work at engineering conferences in Canada and internationally.
