Ed is a water resources engineer with extensive experience in hydrology, hydraulics, geomorphology, and sedimentation analysis for streams and wetlands. He specializes in the planning and design of flood control, channel stabilization, and stream and wetland restoration projects.
Ed has significant expertise managing interdisciplinary teams of water resources specialists, vegetation ecologists, aquatic biologists, and earth scientists to develop environmentally beneficial solutions for flood control, stormwater management, erosion control, channel stabilization, and habitat restoration. His experience spans all project phases, including conceptual analysis, detailed design, preparation of construction documents and cost estimates, permitting, project implementation, and construction management. Ed has led projects across North America and Latin America, integrating physical sciences, engineering, and ecological science to deliver innovative, multi-disciplinary solutions.
