NHC has had continuous involvement in Asia since 1976. Currently, our Asia operations includes eight staff located in various offices around the world. Significant projects we’ve been involved with include the Canadian International Development Agency-financed Small-Scale Water Control Structures pilot project, the World Bank-financed infrastructure for a nation-wide follow-on project called the Small Scall Drainage and Flood Control project, a feasibility study on a number of water projects in Indonesia, projects related to sedimentation in Nepal, the River Nile Protection and Development Project in Cairo, and the Irrigation Management Improvement and River Bank Improvement Projects in Bangladesh.
