Trained in civil engineering with a specialization in water resources, Catherine has experience leading studies in river, urban, and coastal hydraulics. Since joining Lasalle|NHC, she has worked on a broad range of hydraulic projects involving coastal engineering, urban and river hydraulics, and hydraulic structures.

Her expertise includes advanced numerical modeling for network flows, river and coastal hydrodynamics, wave action, and sediment transport. She regularly uses leading hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, MIKE 11, and MIKE 21.

Recently, Catherine led 2D numerical modeling of Lake St. Louis hydrodynamics to assess the vulnerability of the City of Montreal’s water intakes and completed several studies analyzing flow conditions for rivers across Quebec.
