Sarah is a GIS Analyst who leverages geographic information systems to solve complex and unique water resource engineering challenges. As NHC’s Lead GIS Manager, she plays a central role in GIS communication and planning across the company, providing training, supervision, technical support, and quality review.
Sarah’s proactive approach to project management contributes to the success of many of NHC’s large-scale projects. Her expertise spans coastal and riverine flood mapping, flood loss estimation, hydrology, watershed and fish habitat assessment and restoration, flood control, and river and coastal morphology. She is also responsible for data management, GIS customization, and the preparation and manipulation of extensive spatial datasets for input into numerical hydraulic models.
