South America

Since it’s inception in 2013, our South America operations began with a project to undertake a World Bank-funded reservoir sedimentation in Argentina/ Paraguay. Since then, NHC has worked on numerous projects in the area including the review of the Fundão tailings dam after its disastrous collapse in 2015, the Carajas Mine sediment study, development of fish traps for the Santo Antônio hydroelectric project, and the Chaqlla Hydro operations assessment to name a few.
